Where can I Serve?
Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.
Trinity Treasures
Is a wonderful program that is dedicated to the outreach of senior adults in the community through visitation, meals and activities throughout the year. This is geared towards those who are over the age of 55 (both in service and participation) but everyone is welcome.
Children/ Student Ministry
There are many ways one can serve in our children and student Ministry.
If you have a desire to work with infants (ages 0-2) we have a nursery ministry called PK1 during both services. For our preschoolers (ages 3-5) we offer Sunday School during both service times called PK2.
We also have Sunday School classes for k-2 as well as 3-5 @9:30. At 11:00 all the K-5 students come together for games, lesson, and activity. There is always a need for strong role models to our children!!
Our Youth Ministry has 2 classes;one for Jr. High and another for High School. They meet together during the first Sunday School time slot and then split in the middle for small group discussion and activities.
Other ways you can help our students and youth is chaperone activities as they come up throughout the year including service activities, missions, Summer Camps, etc.
Kids “FUEL” Backpack Program
This ministry impacts all Cambridge Elementary Schools by providing backpacks of food for approx. 200 children.
Any amount that you can donate will be bundled with other donations to make up the total.
These children need our help to be nourished over the weekends.
Our church responsibility is providing 2 breakfasts, 3 entrees and snacks to feed approx. 50 students throughout the weekend.
Suggested Items:
Breakfast items including: cereal bars, granola bars, applesauce, fruit cups, pop tarts, instant oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit.
Entree items including: individual microwavable entrees (Mac N Cheese, Ramen, canned or packaged meats, etc.)
Snacks: cheese crackers, cookies etc.
See Faith Maddox with any questions.
VBS is a great program that happens one week during the Summer that Trinity Baptist Church hosts. Students have a great time interacting with other students, taking part in fun activities, and learning about Jesus and the Sacrifice He made on the cross. There is always an invitation near the end when the students have an opportunity to dedicate their lives to Christ.
During the School year Trinity Baptist has a fun, exciting AWANA program. Each Sunday evening Students have a time for memorizing Scripture, learning a Bible story and playing games. There are many needs from listening to verses, supervising, to helping with games.
Media & Technology

Don’t like standing in front of people? Have a great knack with computers and technology? From the sound system to the computer, we have many ways for you to serve.

Our trustees are men who do a great job of maintaining our facilities. If there is an issue, they take care of it. From fixing toilets to the roof. They are a huge part of keeping our facilities in shape! If you like to work with your hands, this is the role for you!
God-honoring worship is something for which we strive. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Men who are ordained who help and encourage members of the church through prayer and service. They are marked through Christian character and integrity. They support the church through regular attendance, assist pastor in baptism and communion. They are actively concerned for the spiritual growth and physical needs of the congregation.
Being Baptist… We like food!! There is no getting around it. Our kitchen is used for meals the first Wednesday of the month, Monthly Trinity Treasures Meals and other ministers throughout the week. Serving in the kitchen to help with meals is a fantastic way to aid our other programs.
Ushers help our service through collecting the offering in the middle of our services. Our church runs through the generosity of our members. Our ushers help in the passing of the offering plate for each of our services
Our van ministry helps us reach out to people who may not have been blessed with transportation. Our van drivers go out into the community and pick up people who otherwise would not be able to come to church.
Greeters are the people you will meet as you walk into the door at Trinity Baptist. They have a smile on their faces and give out our informational bulletins. Greeters are the first impression that people have as they walk into Trinity Baptist Church and our goal is to make people feel as welcomed as possible.
