Where can I Serve?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.
Trinity Treasures

Is a wonderful program that is dedicated to the outreach of senior adults in the community through visitation, meals and activities throughout the year. This is geared towards those who are over the age of 55 (both in service and participation) but everyone is welcome.
Children/ Student Ministry

There are many ways one can serve in our Children and Student Ministry.
We have a preschool ministry that provides care for children from birth to age 5 during both Sunday School and the Worship Service.
We have Sunday School for K-5 @9:15. At 10:30 we offer Children’s Church for students in grades K-5 after the music portion of the worship service. They come together for a lesson and activity.
Our Youth Ministry has 2 groups; one for Jr. High and another for Sr. High.
Other ways you can help our students and youth is chaperone activities as they come up throughout the year including service activities, missions, Summer Camps, etc.
All children and youth volunteers must pass a background check.
Kid’s Food Bag Ministry

This ministry impacts all Cambridge Elementary Schools by providing backpacks of food for approximately  200 children.
Any amount that you can donate will be bundled with other donations to make up the total.
These children need our help to be nourished over the weekends.
Our Church works hand in hand with other churches in the community to provide this ministry.

Our church responsibility is packing 2 breakfasts, 4 entrees and 4 snacks to feed approx. 50 students throughout the weekend.
We also provide the breakfast items for the entire program.
Suggested Breakfast items: Cereal Bars, Granola Bars, Pop Tarts, Instant Oatmeal, Travel Cereal Boxes.

Vacation Bible School

Trinity Baptist Church offers a great VBS program that happens one week during the Summer. Students have a great time interacting with other students, taking part in fun activities, and learning about Jesus and the Sacrifice He made on the cross. There is always an invitation near the end when the students have an opportunity to dedicate their lives to Christ.
Trustees

Our trustees are men who do a great job of maintaining our facilities. If there is an issue, they take care of it. From fixing toilets to the roof. They are a huge part of keeping our facilities in shape! If you like to work with your hands, this is the role for you!
Media & Technology

Don’t like standing in front of people? Have a great knack with computers and technology? From the sound system to the computer, we have many ways for you to serve.

Deacons

Ordained men who help and encourage members of the church through prayer and service. They are marked through Christian character and integrity. They support the church through regular attendance, assisting the  pastors in baptisms and communion. They are actively concerned for the spiritual growth and physical needs of the congregation.

Music

God-honoring worship is something for which we strive. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Ushers

The ushers are in place at the doorways prior to service to hand out informational bulletins and provide direction to open seating. They are responsible for collecting the offering and ensuring its safe keeping.
Kitchen

Being Baptist… We like food!! There is no getting around it. Our kitchen is used for Monthly Trinity Treasures’ Meals and other ministries throughout the week. Serving in the kitchen to help with meals is a fantastic way to aid our other programs.
Greeters

Greeters are the people you will meet as you walk in the door at Trinity Baptist. They greet everyone with a smile, provide hot beverages and directions. Greeters are the first impression that people have as they walk into Trinity Baptist Church and our goal is to make people feel as welcome as possible.
